With parents-in-law and parents, it's 30%, so you need a lot of de-icing salt.
Really 30%? I also measured at the parents-in-law's today and it's 16%. I find that already quite borderline and no longer nice. But 30% is quite a statement.
If the architect doesn't suggest a good solution for the garage, I now prefer a long flat one over a short steep driveway...
How much does a driveway with mid-priced stones cost approximately? For example 10 meters? So I can compare the costs for a long and a short driveway. Are permeable stones more expensive? (This is a requirement in the development plan)
Mmh, too bad. Then you probably don’t like this one either, because it’s very similar:
On the contrary! Wait! The parent’s part (bedroom/dressing room/bathroom) is perfect! The best I have seen so far... Overall, the upper floor is already very good. I would only change two things: the children’s rooms are a bit narrow and the open reading/crafting corner for my wife is missing (the one I mistakenly called a gallery at the beginning). This corner is important to her and I only get "my" children's bathroom if she gets her corner. But since I will not give up a children’s bathroom, THIS corner MUST be there!
On the ground floor we have to mirror kitchen/dining and TV. I know the kitchen "belongs" near the entrance... But we simply find it much more harmonious the other way around. A good example of how we imagine kitchen/dining is at the Model House Modena from Rensch-Haus (see pictures). Whether as a U-shaped kitchen or with an island kitchen doesn’t matter. But we simply find the orientation perfect.
