For us, about 13 % is fine. With parents-in-law and parents, it’s 30 %, that requires a lot of rock salt. No idea how many times I’ve gotten stuck with the car in winter or fallen while shoveling.

That's true.

Mmh, too bad. Then you probably don't like this one either, because it's very similar:

(I left out the terrain, which is very elaborate and ultimately always the same.)
But no problem. At least we know what you don't want. That's worth something.

Really 30%? I also measured at the parents-in-law's today and it's 16%. I find that already quite borderline and no longer nice. But 30% is quite a statement.

If the architect doesn't suggest a good solution for the garage, I now prefer a long flat one over a short steep driveway...

How much does a driveway with mid-priced stones cost approximately? For example 10 meters? So I can compare the costs for a long and a short driveway. Are permeable stones more expensive? (This is a requirement in the development plan)

On the contrary! Wait! The parent’s part (bedroom/dressing room/bathroom) is perfect! The best I have seen so far... Overall, the upper floor is already very good. I would only change two things: the children’s rooms are a bit narrow and the open reading/crafting corner for my wife is missing (the one I mistakenly called a gallery at the beginning). This corner is important to her and I only get "my" children's bathroom if she gets her corner. But since I will not give up a children’s bathroom, THIS corner MUST be there!

On the ground floor we have to mirror kitchen/dining and TV. I know the kitchen "belongs" near the entrance... But we simply find it much more harmonious the other way around. A good example of how we imagine kitchen/dining is at the Model House Modena from Rensch-Haus (see pictures). Whether as a U-shaped kitchen or with an island kitchen doesn’t matter. But we simply find the orientation perfect.

Not perfect, but well zoned. The dressing room should be adjusted a bit to fit more cabinets in less space. They are not at all. 3x4 is a good ratio, just like 3.50x5.00. There is nothing narrow about that. No, since no one here is building a long, drawn-out castle, the kitchen belongs more toward the terrace, where you can harvest the rosemary. However, I’m currently doubting the budget issue: I don’t recall your idea anymore, but if now the costs of a driveway come up... ?!?

What do you want to do if the properties are not flat?

Take 100 euros for concrete paving, gravel, and laying per square meter. Earthworks and level adjustment are not included. It could also be done a bit cheaper.
