So it’s supposed to be completely closed off and basically just no door to this room upstairs, but open to the hallway? Then that’s definitely not a gallery... if you use that term, everyone naturally assumes a gallery and that definitely includes an open space

Considering the building plot (which I initially overlooked), the 750K for 3 floors is not so generous after all. However, the matter has a lot of optimization potential.

Please send the site plan with building envelope + access + elevation (at least approximately). A sketch will do for now. Then we’d be happy to brainstorm with you. Before that, it makes little sense.

How is the house supposed to look from the outside if you place so much value on the bay window? Have you already seen and saved a picture somewhere? Then send it over.

Bavaria again. In Franconia, nobody gets excommunicated for that.

Where is the airspace or the gallery then? I’m confused.

Reading corner, sofa for the aquarium or crawling corner (I usually sit on the floor there)
Living room
Who is supposed to use all of this?

I would doubt that: True, but it’s quite far away for that. I like to sit a maximum of 1-2m in front of it. I’ll even take a chair for that, if necessary. Well, it’s not that quiet after all, and it doesn’t necessarily need to be. Or what kind of animals are supposed to go in there? Why? The window is directly opposite, even southern sun. What will it be? Saltwater? And now to the disadvantages I see there: Walls on three sides – that’s bad. First, you lose the possibility to see the tank from the side, and second, it’s a pain if you have to get to the back corner. Cleaning the glass at the side bottom back will be a nightmare. If you need to get to the technology – bad again. Laying or removing hoses – you always need to be able to access from the side as well. I wouldn’t do that. If you really want to achieve the "built-into-the-wall effect," then operate it from the adjacent room (e.g. a storage or utility room) with a cutout to the living room. That’s pretty cool – like in a zoo.

Regarding the site plan (which is oriented to the north):

The building at the lower right is a garage/shed which is still going to be demolished.

Of course, we would position the house as far as possible towards the northern boundary. Theoretically, even directly on the boundary, since the northern part of the property belongs to the parents and a boundary construction is therefore possible. The garage could also be placed on the parents' property, as we will still inherit part of the parents' property by will (i.e. in total half of both properties). But only the lower property is now being gifted for construction.

The difficulty with the property is: The property slopes steeply from the street for the first approx. 3-4 meters and then only slightly. That means regarding the driveway we have thought the following: Our plan is therefore to bypass this "slope" and place the driveway at the lower left (where the driveway for the shed is already located). Then the slope can be retained or shortened with L-shaped stones (if you know what I mean).

Opposite the front door simply stairs up to the street and there a trash bin shelter and entrance can be made.

Spontaneously, I would have placed the garage between the house and the street

I don't like the long driveway.
Which also costs quite a bit
