Cool. After these arguments, the east window is off the table. Just take a look at the sun’s path, when and where the sun rises. And if you orient the bedroom according to Feng Shui, then there are two mistakes in the bedroom right away: bed between door and window as well as door at the head side. You also don’t see the garden from the bed. Sipping coffee looking out the bedroom window: you’re more likely to stay in the kitchen. Great is to align work/get-up time with the morning sun: in winter at half past eight to the SE, in summer at 4:31 am to the NE... then you cuddle in the tub

You don’t have to account for this. But thinking about it a bit helps enormously to untangle your own mental knot

I did. And then? As you already said, it rises between NE and SE depending on the season... So I'm not entirely wrong with east, right? Eventually, it will show itself :P

I am aware of these two mistakes. I'm not happy with it yet either. Especially the entrance I don't like. I'm still looking for the optimal solution. Kaho solved the entrance to the bedroom quite well. You'd just have to somehow mirror it

Yes, maybe you do. Because of the slope: our side goes down, the other side goes up. But that would need to be determined exactly...

We don't drink coffee :P

No idea what you mean by that

Just saw the mirrored draft now. Yes, having the entrance so far from the street/garage is annoying... Hmm, but unfortunately I have no suggestion for improvement. Because swapping the utility room and hallway doesn't really work due to the AQ. But we are slowly approaching the optimum.

Oh, not at all.
Let’s start from the beginning. Look for about 3 to 4 alternatives. Then we’ll crumple everything up and see what ideas the architect has.

The coffee came from you! Without further words, explanations, or questions, it's time to speak plainly: Despite minor adjustments, it remains a crappy floor plan that cannot be argued away. Just press the delete key – it frees you from unnecessary ballast.

A little bit of Toronto maybe?:

The guest room could optionally be made accessible from the hallway as a storage room or pantry.

The floor area is moderate compared to the original draft. Maybe we still indulge in the small bay window, which was a heartfelt wish:
