Barcelona by Rensch-Haus - knee wall 63cm - I have already moved the entrance and mirrored the house. However, whether the landing staircase fits here - no idea. The kitchen and former office can be swapped if needed.

4 rooms still too many on the upper floor? The walk-in closet is only "half" a room. That means about 72m² (adjusted for a knee wall height of 1.30m) must be distributed. It is supposed to be a small single-family house and not a royal palace. I have already lived in apartments with less square meters.

Here is the floor plan of the upper floor. The large gray area is a sauna that disappears into the wall:

Bathroom: 15.6m²
Sauna: 5.7m² (4.2m² at 2m height)
Children’s room: 20.3m²
Hallway: 6.2m²
Bedroom: 13.7m²
Walk-in closet: 10.8m²

Why does it look like this?
- Gable used for rooms frequently used
- Bedroom not adjacent to stairs or children’s room
- Very nice view from the sauna
- Children’s room now very spacious, in return there is an extra office room in the basement

We oriented ourselves to this Rensch house for the ground floor

Can you please be a bit more specific? Too spacious kitchen?

Have a nice Sunday everyone

I don't think it's bad. But the ground floor wasn't really my thing. The views will definitely become interesting as well. Let's see where this leads.

We made some optimizations on the ground floor today. The kitchen has shrunk a bit in length, but now has only one island with the sink by the window. The refrigerator and oven/microwave are built into the wall with counter space in between. Additionally, there is a pantry where our freezer is also located.

Good night everyone

I like it, except for the slanted entrance area. What exactly is that supposed to achieve? This tiny part then needs a roof, which becomes elaborate and disproportionately expensive. The slant at the dining table would also be removed by me, but that is a matter of taste.
