Fortunately, we mostly have all the furniture and lamps quite new. We will also try the approach of financing as much as possible and then either repay whatever is left in one go or make good extra repayments.

You can do that yourself very easily and quite quickly for little money, I don't see that as a problem.

However, the material costs for other things should not be underestimated. Paving the yard, curb stones, terrace subfloor + covering. The budgeted money for that is gone very quickly. As an example: We had to install a gutter on the street and in front of the two terrace doors -> material cost 1600 euros. Those are costs we didn't have on the radar beforehand.

In the greatest emergency, we still have parents who don't leave us hanging. My mom has already given me a 7k emergency buffer.

Already dealt with Homeway?

- You have 4 outlets in the construction service description. Are they enough? Cost for an additional outlet?
- What does the Homeway central unit look like? What is included?
- If I read it correctly, only the basic outlet is installed in the rooms. The inserts are not included.
- Only 1x Gigabit LAN connection per outlet is possible. With 2x LAN or LAN+TAE, the LAN speed is only 100MBit, which is no longer up to date. In my opinion, the living room and office should always have a double outlet.
- The Homeway WLAN inserts are also no longer quite up to date. Please also consider that WLAN should always be central in the house and ideally at least prepared on each floor.
- As already mentioned, SAT is not included.

For me, the system is not suitable. You should check whether the 4 outlets are really sufficient for you and possibly add something.

To be honest, I haven't dealt with Homeway at all.

That’s right, the SAT dish is missing. In principle, Homeway can also do SAT.
