In addition, most routers today already have the DECT base station "built-in". This also includes the current and older routers from Telekom.
4 sockets at the workstation and TV spot may not necessarily be required if it is Gigabit, as you could use a good switch for 20 euros. I assume that 4 sockets are still too few ports in case of doubt, but the data rate from 2 sockets is more than enough.
By the way, I have experienced that streaming 4k movies (Netflix or Amazon) works very well via cable, but only to a limited extent via WLAN. When I start the stream over WLAN, the video begins with very low resolution (about 640x480...) and then the resolution slowly increases to 4k. The same happens when you press "pause" and then start again. Nominally, the WLAN connection has 300 MBit, the cable only 100 MBit.
