Sorry, it was not my intention. Which offer do you mean? From the Sparkasse?
That was 342k at 2.2% interest with a monthly rate of about €1200 and a term of 15 years.

No, the offer from Town & Country, which you have signed. This way, you could still be informed about missing items before you sign the loan at the bank.

I have never in my life lived/lodged any other way than with radiators and gas heating. For us, completely okay and sufficient. We are having wooden floorboards laid by an acquaintance, which isn’t really compatible with underfloor heating anyway. And even so, from the start we said that we would choose radiators and gas heating.
A ventilation system with heat recovery is still included in the price.

Oh! Good idea! I'll post that later when I'm at home! By the way, we can still withdraw from the contract within 2 weeks after it has been delivered to us by post. We haven't received it yet. We only signed it with our advisor.

The gas boiler is supplemented with photovoltaics and is already included in the price. As I said, we have always lived with gas heating and radiators so far and find that perfectly fine.

Since modern underfloor heating systems have a significantly lower flow temperature, combining them with wooden floors is no problem. And you’re really getting wooden planks? Not parquet? Floorboards? And that is included in the budget?

And that is actually my absolute pet peeve argument: we have always done it this way, I have never done it differently!

hm!

So if humanity had always thought that way, we would still be wearing loincloths, living in caves, and hunting mammoths... since the latter are extinct, we would be extinct too, because people always hunted mammoths and therefore starved.

If you want to use traditional radiators, okay. I can understand if someone says they want to save money there, but not “because we have always done it that way.”
Personally, I don’t know anyone who, once they have lived with underfloor heating or other surface heating, wants to go back to radiators, and there is a good reason for that.

Wow, photovoltaic and controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery?
I underestimated Town & Country (and I don’t quite believe it yet)
