You want to spend half a million euros on a house and then it can't be that your guest WC is only 80 cm wide (minus interior plaster, possibly tiles it will be even less). You embarrass your overweight guests!

Best regards

If you separate the house, the guest WC is located in the hallway in front of the front door. You might as well put a little heart house in the yard...

Very amusing. Substance is being skimped on so that one more claustrophobia chamber can be planned.

What were the two office chambers for again? Why do you need 2 of them when one family could manage with one office?

In my opinion, I would swap the kitchen and the living room. In this plan, no one would ever have peace on the sofa. Even if the gang of teenagers makes a pizza, they don't have to go through the whole house but can just hang out in the kitchen and at the dining table.

I don’t see the issue with the guest WC as that dramatic, just as I think that 2 bathrooms are still acceptable for 6 people. However, I would provide empty conduits for a 3rd bathroom in the attic.

So, I went back to the bathroom with a folding rule. I find 80 cm width more than sufficient. 110 cm depth is admittedly rather tight, but it actually works with the space-saving toilet from WICI Conzept. Having the guest toilet in the stairwell due to a house separation is certainly not ideal. We'll see, maybe we'll move it in 25 years.

I designed the two office rooms according to our requirements. I just need a small room where I can work and make phone calls undisturbed. My wife wants a separate room that she can lock to leave things "out" sometimes without the kids getting to them.

I'm not saying the plan suits everyone, but we think it's really good. We're still considering the kitchen island in a different place. My wife doesn't really like the idea, but I still wanted to draw it again later.

I don't really expect peace in the dining, living, or kitchen areas. Four kids always bring life into the house no matter where, and we love that.

People perceive it very differently when measuring a width with a tape measure compared to when there are then solid 2.5 m high walls on the left and right. For me, the guests would have to use the shower toilet too. I find that unproblematic. My guests mostly use my guest bathroom, but some still like to go to our bathroom when there is a lot of demand. That has never harmed anyone.
