: Thanks for your second draft. I also quite like it, but the first one or rather what I took from it (which is most of it ) I think fits our needs even better. My wife doesn't like the kitchen island yet. So I redesigned it.
: Thank you very much for your suggestions. The caravan is not on a pitch but on the grass. Maybe I'll put two slabs under it, but not more. However, the garage should definitely be paved.
The tip about the terrace is a good one. Because of the floor-to-ceiling windows and long sliding door, I think it would be smart to pour the terrace at the same time to avoid height differences later (possibly from sinking over the years) and to embed a drainage channel directly between the terrace and the house in the concrete.

Wouldn't you rather expect something like that in the kitchen? Otherwise, you are always running in circles around this massive island with the shopping bags.

Or you squeeze the toilet behind the kitchen - which you would then have to make a bit smaller.

Hello Katja, not necessarily. If you have the island on the window side, you lose the beautiful large continuous glass front.

Certainly not because of the thermal separation.

Moreover, I always see the same floor plan here, only varying at the fourth or four and a half decimal place. Indications that the supposed fine-tuning maturity is still light years away seem not to reach you.

I'm off then (not on the Camino de Santiago, but) gone.

: You’ve been saying that so often now. But I also don’t see how, with 4 children and 2 offices, you wouldn’t have to fully utilize 12x9.6. I also don’t believe it will be cheaper to downsize the house and instead convert the attic. Living on 3 levels is also not necessarily desirable, in my opinion. Besides, divisibility plays a not insignificant role and cannot simply be dismissed with 4 children.

So what exactly do you mean? What alternative do you have in mind? I’m afraid the OP+family (and I as well) are less stubborn; we just simply cannot follow you.
