I share the assessment that the windows on the east and west sides are not optimally positioned from the outside. From the inside they are, though. It would be conceivable to modify the attic window. If you were to install a triangular window over the entire area, the problem would no longer exist. Yes, yes, it costs of course... but here it’s about a beautiful and practical floor plan. Regarding the guest toilet, I would like to point out that toilets in caravans/motorhomes, airplanes, and trains offer less space... and the 110x80 dimensions are almost the minimum standard in changing rooms. I think if the "room" is given a window, it will be fine.

I have to mention right away that a toilet like this somehow works, as long as the door opens outward.

But there is a difference between "works" and functioning well/being nice.

By the way, toilets on trains and airplanes are probably the least liked, but only because the need can't be postponed until the next stop!

Edit: There is no toilet bowl in changing rooms, so I don't have to worry about my skirt brushing against the toilet seat when I turn around. And on that occasion picking up droplets from the inattentive previous user. For those who are already appalled while reading: you're welcome, unfortunately, this is the often daily reality. Yuck.

Yes, you can certainly improve that - even without changing the floor plan exorbitantly. But it will require some concessions. You want to install a guest WC in your house like in a bus or caravan? You know what, do whatever you want! I'm glad I don't have to be your guest.

The toilet discussion with a tiny prefabricated toilet cabin is pure mockery. That bears no relation to the failed shower planning. Schwörerhaus has a model house where the toilet with a small hand basin in the main bathroom is separate, so there is a sliding door made of frosted glass as well as a door, allowing the toilet to be accessed from both sides. If you make this accessible from the small hallway, the problem is solved.
