The idea of moving furniture more or less regularly is rarely put into practice. In my opinion, such a thing should not even be considered to cover up problems in new buildings.

Yes, the views certainly don't win any beauty awards. The exterior view also has some value, and one can definitely do without a glass front window on the ground floor so that the windows in the gable above are symmetrical and also match the ground floor.

Otherwise, I'm really not a symmetry fanatic, but a bit more of it here would be a relief for the eye and can be achieved without a significant loss of living comfort.

And please finally get rid of this tiny toilet. It hurts my eyes even more. Imagine standing in a 1-meter wardrobe and having to go to the bathroom there. That's horror! Nobody should be subjected to that. I’m just imagining the mayor coming over and having to use such a toilet. That would be so embarrassing!

Maybe more mother-in-law toilet than mayor toilet...

Hi Katja,

which view do you mean exactly? The west and east sides are both somewhat asymmetrical. If I move the windows on the west side, it no longer fits with the study. On the east side, the imbalance is due to the kitchen on the ground floor. To compensate for this on the other side, you would have to extend the wall there by about a meter and move the window on the upper floor. Of course, this would be possible.

Guests come to the guest WC!

Best regards Johannes

The windows are surely better - kitchen or no kitchen. I do understand that guests are supposed to use the [Gäste -WC]. That just makes it even more embarrassing! I would never want to visit you, if only because of the toilet.
