We call that a chicken coop lot here. That doesn’t require any work. My beds alone are bigger :p;)
I also find that somewhat disrespectful again. Our townhouse plot was a total of 199 sqm, garage and house including "front garden" and a 3m terrace across the width of just under 6m deducted, only a small patch remained. We loved it and made it nice for ourselves. The pictures range from 2003 to 2014.
Maybe a little inspiration. Terrace 3x5.75 at the house and 3 x 4 wooden deck at the back right at the end of the garden. Over time, the beech hedge at the end of the garden also grew big. Planted at 50 cm, after 10 years it was taller than a man and opaque.
We didn’t have much to invest and gave the garden time. The fence was created by agreement with neighbors, the terrace and partition were included in the construction price. That also fit with the children growing up.
First, we planted piece by piece. Only bought the smallest plants. Later, it was about strategic thinning. A willow, which at planting was just an 80 cm high stem, I felled after 16 years. It had long since towered over the house and had a trunk diameter of almost 50 cm. Unfortunately, this tree was no longer neighborhood-compatible. In between, we fought against the box tree moth. The buyers of the house kept the basic structure and cut back the wild growth again.
