Ask him how he would solve this, what his recommendation is: a) best technical solution and impact on material consumption b) best optical solution and consequences on the technical side and material consumption c) cheapest solution and consequence on the technical side

And with that, you can come back here again to see whether he is talking nonsense or not.

The risk that he simply adopts your ideas but nothing comes of it (either because it is not good or he can’t do it) is too high.

Had 3 craftsmen here, all said everything is possible, it's a matter of taste. Most of the time the simplest version that is easiest for them to lay is recommended, not the more stylish one.

Mine is anthracite. Yours doesn’t have any anthracite at all. I already said that yours is too light and what consequences that has. If you ask how I wrote it like that, there will be a different answer, I’m sure.

Funny. We have light tiles inside and a light staircase and regret that a little. In the bathroom, we have the aforementioned tile (so Anthracite) only the version for indoors (same pattern, just thinner, but it is no longer available) and you can't see anything there. But maybe we just have different dust than you.

Hello,

how would you build the terrace? I have 60 by 120 large slabs. So at the front I build 4.20 deep and the house is 7m, I want at least 8.50 longer. In the picture I have marked it once, if I make the terrace 2.40 out of the bay window and stretch the strip straight out as it looks. In the corner I also made a bed. In total it would be 75m2. The idea was still only 3m in the area of the bay window, otherwise the strip around it narrower.

Is the terrace too big? I also don't want to have everything paved, but through the corners we pave, the 74 m2 quickly arise. And I am unsure whether I should have a splash guard built.
