Too light, gets dirty quickly. If it's that light, you have to clean it with a pressure washer regularly. When you pressure wash, you attack the sealant, then it gets dirty even faster (with porcelain stoneware certainly less bad than with concrete paving, but still). If it has to be that light, then rather a more lively pattern. If I personally were to go for porcelain stoneware (I prefer wood), I would get the "Porcelain Stoneware Terrace Slab Metallic Steel Black rectified edge 120 cm x 60 cm x 2 cm" (It's also available in 60x60, but here the 120 cm one is not much more expensive than your variant). I find that quite stylish. The change in direction with a miter joint would be the highlight. Otherwise if he doesn't want to or if that gets more expensive, I would leave the larger area larger and make a cut edge there (might be necessary anyway, due to expansion joint, but the craftsman would know).
