Thank you for the answers so far. There are good and diverse ideas among them. Let's see, then I can discuss various things with the architect.

My current interim status:
- I see the conservatory critically in summer when the sun is blazing down (greenhouse effect?!), especially since you would regularly have to clean many windows there?
- A wooden garden shed would be an inexpensive alternative.
- So far, I consider the best approach to be to insulate and plaster the brick "additional garage" inside in a DIY style and then heat it briefly beforehand if needed.
- I consider integrating the sports room into the living area too expensive due to the high prices (about 50k) compared to the DIY-insulated garage?

But I am still happy to receive further suggestions.

**Edit: Oh yes, labeling an entire people as "weird" (here the Americans) is not my level. I have had very positive experiences (helpful, open-minded, friendly) with the people there during my trips to the USA so far. But enough off-topic now.

What you should consider for your DIY insulated garage is good ventilation. During training, you will sweat a lot and this needs to get out quickly. If you only heat partially, the masonry will be cold and condensation will form on the ceiling and walls, which can end up like a dripstone cave. In my multipurpose room, the windows were fogged up after training recently.

I would integrate the room into the house. Sometimes you see the solution where the gable roof is extended further down on one side and a terrace is made there. Instead of the terrace, you make walls and windows around it.

I think the idea with the training room is great. When I see many house designs, I often wonder: Don’t people have hobbies anymore that need space?

Some people don't even have space to put a smelly sports bag anywhere anymore.... let alone a gym or some equipment (whether it's weight training or something else).

Outside, there are only small pots. Prefabricated garages become disproportionately more expensive in my opinion when they deviate from common average dimensions. Such sizes are indeed offered as special or motorhome garages, but even the best barbecue sauce won’t easily bring the prices down. The main points regarding border garages and energy aspects have already been mentioned.

Even on large, almost square plots, there can be unfavorably located and dimensioned building envelopes.

What do you consider to define a "good" architect? – In my opinion, a good architect is characterized, among other things, by being independently commissioned and not included "all inclusive" in the construction contract.

In Germany, different regulations apply to living spaces than to garages. And anyone doing sports in front of the garage is regarded around here almost like an alien, just as if they wore a "Gay Communist Pride" jersey in the USA.

Valid objections. Thank you very much!

It would then look something like this, right?

It only becomes interesting whether it won’t be too tall with a two-story (ground floor and first floor) with a gable roof? You would have to draw it from the side or maybe you can let the roof in the sports room slope steeper than the regular gable roof?

Thanks again for the inspirations.
