Of course, it’s not nice when you enter a room and then furniture is in the way or the side panels of cabinets are in the traffic path or when approaching them. Here in the kitchen.
It is better to move the kitchen door to the left as planned and integrate the cabinets into the kitchen.
I fully agree with you. The kitchen was actually a "first draft." The three large cabinets (for stove/microwave combo, refrigerator, and "other" large cabinet).
We will talk to a kitchen professional in due time and have some options shown to us. The side access is changeable for now.
Furnish the intended exits to the garden, otherwise there could be collisions between the doors and furniture pieces.
Yes, that's the plan. Although we really like the "more light" by now.
I find the hallway too large – especially in relation to the stairs, which I would execute as a landing staircase. And the 2.24 m is the absolute minimum dimension for a "space-saving staircase" in a semi-detached or row house.
Okay... to be honest, I hadn’t really thought much about that. I have been inside the house twice now and always found the staircase sufficient. We are going back on Saturday, then I will pay close attention again.
Also furnish the bathroom once. The blue areas are supposed to represent room heights below 2 meters? That can get tight.
Toilet rooms should rather be planned on top of each other because of the installed technology.
What wall thicknesses were drawn?
Tell me where the 1 m and 2 m lines are on the upper floor. Because I couldn’t find that anywhere.
The 2 m line is roughly at the blue area. I would like to attach the plan with the bathroom furniture, but you can’t see it there because I can’t make the ceiling transparent. Maybe I’ll try again with a 3D section.
Since we know the bathroom as we plan it, we know it should actually fit, but I will take a closer look again on Saturday.
I know about the stacked arrangement... but I simply have no idea how to plan it differently. Although a boxed-in section in the study is no big deal.
Basically, I question the entire house orientation. There are no windows on the east and south – consider when the sun sets between September and April; hardly any sun rays enter the house that both indirectly warm the house and do good to the soul.
I’m not really into the "where does the sun rise" thing, ashes on my head ops: I have attached the alternative again.
By the way, there will still be a double casement window above the stairs.
In the basement, windows are there to ventilate sometimes, this answer was still pending
Basement windows are still not desired, not even in the laundry room, or how does the moisture get out of the basement?
I absolutely have no idea yet, that’s why I haven’t drawn anything in yet.
There will definitely be one or the other window. (Probably a smaller one in the laundry room and 2 in the hobby area)
