Why the "master bath" is supposed to be a disaster, you’ll have to explain. Apart from the parents, no one has any business in there; the kids have their own bathroom. It’s the same with us, ensuite, but since my place is only 1/3 the size of this house, the bathroom is tiny and you can hear what’s going on in there. The kiddy bathroom is bigger in our case.

Of course, it would be better if you could get to the bathroom through the dressing room.

Are there no cuts or views?

As I understand it, the point is that

It's about the fact that the master bathroom is enclosed and you disturb the other person if they are still/already sleeping. It can also be done differently, by accessing the parents' area through the dressing room and, for example, going left into the bathroom and right into the bedroom. I would also find that more successful than sleeping directly next to the bathroom.

Exactly! It's not about WHO uses the bathroom but HOW it must be used.

In the morning I get up, go from the bedroom to the dressing room, then back through the bedroom into the bathroom. Then I go back through the bedroom because I forgot something... to be repeated as often as desired.

Super practical... Not!

You get dressed before you go to the bathroom? Then I wouldn't put much stock in your advice :p

Oh sorry, completely forgot to update and also the views.

The draft has changed a bit.

I would do the basement slightly differently, but it’s not that important. I would combine the hallway and utility room there.
Do you have a separation between the basement and the ground floor? With a door?

The ground floor looks different now. I’m still undecided whether I should also align the door to the living room with the wall line, so that the hallway is a bit bigger.
The kitchen was his suggestion, probably driven more by the outside view. We are also still considering whether we want a separate stove island and a table, e.g., at the top right.
More space for wall cabinets would result if we made the window below smaller. But it already looks better this way. He himself revised the idea of the diagonal connection. I still don’t understand what was so bad about it. The main argument so far was always "you don’t do it that way." Great.

The upstairs bathroom situation has been fixed. I would still consider whether to swap the bathroom and bedroom and make the bedroom a bit bigger.
We don’t really need the extra room divider for the WC either.
One kids’ room is a bit bigger than the other, but well, whatever.
There is still a missing window in the kids’ bathroom and the window in the upstairs utility room is unnecessarily large.
