I find it hard to picture the staircase at the moment. On the other hand, I think the layout in the entrance area is better this way. The guest room also benefits significantly.

The issue with the canopy is still under discussion, especially regarding how large the overhang will be. Allegedly, it can be simulated, etc. I simply tend to prefer less.

To be honest, the picture is from an earlier version. Back then, the roof was even lower.

We have a 3m terrace roof in front of the living room; nothing obstructs the view, not even the sky; it is still bright enough and since September the sun has been shining into the living room again; in December even deep into the room. Our rooms are 270cm high.

I can only recommend a generous terrace roof to you. It is worth it because it provides coolness in the summer and year-round weather protection for the terrace furniture.

I like the new plan; maybe the stairwell can be made so large that a lift can be installed there; I still find that better than a stair lift in old age.

Really? Okay. Exceptions prove the rule...

The radius of the stairwell must be correct. There are also double-spiral ones, which are underground steep because the stairwell is mini.

Hello,

I would like to revive this once more and show the first floor plans. Unfortunately, it has turned out that the old BO 2016 still applies to our plot. Therefore, only 66% of the floor area upstairs and a 1 meter setback from the ground floor. Because of this, the surrounding terrace is now gone and actually the design upstairs is more compact and manageable. The corridor is a bit narrow, but this way everyone has nice areas.
It is a bit unfortunate that you cannot get out of the parents' bathroom without going through the bedroom. The utility room upstairs could perhaps be a bit bigger.

The utility room on the ground floor is more of an airlock and storage room for the ground floor than a utility room. I like the idea of having the kitchen with a kind of folding/sliding door leading diagonally into the living/dining area. The study also has a better layout now.

We are planning the basement at first and I think we will do it if the budget allows. We cannot add it later, therefore.

But no architect planned this, right? Structurally, I consider the corner with the extension, where the [OG] winds back again, quite a complex task ;) And a wardrobe closet, 6 meters from the entrance... hmm....
