Sorry, maybe already said, so possible repetition:
1. Swap bedroom and dressing room.
2. The space under the stairs in the hallway hardly exists for you. Installing cabinets there is a lot of work and little benefit. But ok.
3. There is no more space for jackets in the utility room.
4. I think the huge dining table is cool, although it looks quite tight.
5. Access to the kitchen only through the living room is bad in my opinion.
6. Child 3 regularly wakes up because of the toilet flush and child 2 because of the shower.
7. With 5 people, a second shower is needed. Is the dressing room that important?
1. We have also considered it, but discarded it because the passage in the dressing room causes a lot of space loss and generally the dressing room is also used as floor storage with us XD.
2. As mentioned, we have a carpenter on board and several examples in the area who have implemented this. It’s really great.
There is plenty of space under the stairs. I was in a show house of Viebrockhaus and was quite amazed at what all fits in there (picture attached).
3. A 1.5-2m cabinet is sufficient for jackets in my opinion. In fact, the most used items hang on hooks in the hallway anyway. But that is more an organizational matter in the utility room. You only see that once the utilities have spread out over the approximately 4.5m².
4. The table shown here is pictured extended and fully occupied with 12 people. Otherwise, there is one with 6 seats. By the way, I quite like the idea with the bench and will pursue it further.
5. Yes, it’s a compromise. Otherwise, you have three doors in the kitchen.
6. There are very simple technical means of sound insulation against that. (Speaking from experience here)
7. The second shower will be installed in the attic with occupancy >5. Until then...
