Drainage of the laundry room and the bathroom via a soil pipe shaft in the utility room (HAR). That’s why these are stacked on top of each other.

Statically, it will fit anyway, because a structural calculation of the ceiling will be made. The ceiling will only be comparatively very expensive, because if you install the heating including the water storage, you would significantly exceed the live loads of a standard ceiling of a single-family house. Therefore, the ceiling will probably have to be made thicker and reinforced much more strongly.

You are talking about the space in the living room under the stairs - at least the picture fits that. Yes, you can use the storage space well there and there is also a door installed. I was talking about storage space in the hallway. You crawl on the floor there and there is no space.

HAR: If the utility company was there, the room will be full. But you want to convert the attic for the heating.

Attached a bit of rearranging for more storage space. I would narrow the hallway to 1.60m and move the doors of the two little rooms forward. That relaxes the space inside a bit.
Also place the doors so that there is maximum space for the wardrobe between them. The front door and the bathroom door are very rarely open at the same time. They can be easily in front of each other.

Shift the kitchen door into the "garage storage room" a bit so that a cabinet can stand behind it along the full length. The little "kitchen space" you lose from this change doesn’t really matter. Possibly have the door swing in the other direction.

Is this supposed to be a pantry? Because you regularly have car exhaust inside there. Bon appétit, I’d say.

Overall, the design remains a small disaster. Why one has to design this oneself and not ask a professional is beyond me.
Where, for example, do you keep all the dishes for the festive table? Tablecloths, napkins, coasters, vases, candlesticks, cutlery cases and the like?
- Kitchen, kitchen, and kitchen again?
In the end, you have the things for the living room in the kitchen and the things for the kitchen in the garage. Or is it all supposed to go under the stairs? Oh no, there are already the shoes and jackets!
Yippy. A life under the stairs.

We decided to plan ourselves after receiving a few proposals from [GU], which were even more disastrous. We also received a version from an architect. It was no better than ours. That's why we wanted to try it here.

I still don’t find the access from garage - storage room - kitchen good. Where do you enter the house with the children?

The kitchen is wide - lots of walking space
The dining area is very narrow. I quite like the idea with the bench.

Living room for 5-6 people without a cupboard for toys, books, craft supplies, etc.
Doesn’t work

The storage room under the stairs isn’t that big either.

House connections and wardrobe in one room takes some getting used to.

In the children’s rooms, it’s not about the size but also about the furnishability. In children’s rooms 1 and 2, move the windows so that cupboards and shelves can be placed along the entire wall. I find wide windows with a sill height better than narrow floor-to-ceiling ones in the children’s rooms.

You are planning with [DG] even though that is officially not allowed? What will you do if someone inspects?

Ok, so dissatisfied with the architect.

I find the heating in the attic acceptable, but laundry never ever! Do you really want to run up to the attic every time? With 3 children, you are constantly up there.

How secure is the extension of the attic? Is it immediately affordable financially?
