You urgently need to learn that it's not just about who is looking in or what you see outside. What matters is that the light comes in. Ugly neighbors' gabions are ruthlessly overgrown. Virginia creeper, I say. Then it's the most beautiful terrace spot. And windows where people walk past get a curtain. That's why half-height window curtains were invented. Yes, you can already rummage through grandma's closet...

You can’t be serious
But that’s how it is: where no one should look in or out, you just make a strip of windows; on the south and west sides, as much daylight as possible should be captured. If there’s something unattractive in the back, you plant over it or place something in the line of sight that catches the eye — a beautiful maple tree or a decorative chair with plants. Whatever suits your taste. Even a clump of bamboo catches the eye.
It’s not like we all live in pristine nature — a garden should harmonize from the inside and not the foreign things beyond the boundary.

Anyone who has been closely following the house picture thread recently could have discovered such a wonderful specimen in a guest bathroom. That shook me too...

But as already noted: there are many possibilities (and also tasteful ones) to prevent unwanted glimpses. Quite simply with frosted glass or corresponding film (it doesn't have to cover the entire window surface, strips are enough to make glimpsing difficult), the well-known pleated blinds, or just many green plants on the windowsill.
