I have stayed out of it so far. But what is so hard to understand?

You lack square meters for storage, which then have to be compensated with awkward tinkering under unfavorably located stairs. At the same time, the kitchen has some square meters where none are needed.

What is the reason? Because the floor plan just isn’t good. Period. And it is not “optimal for special needs,” but simply not good.

Clearly better alternative proposals are dismissed with “it’s pretty much the same.” No. They are worlds apart.

And 11ant is also right when he observes in his unmistakable style: The root of the problem is the fixation on the garage structure.

That’s how it is. That needs to be undone, the garages separated, and as a result the external line of the house changed, which means you have to think about a new floor plan anyway.

But the start of the thread is defended like the Bible: There is a discussion about whether the Earth is six thousand or seven thousand years old. But the leap to Darwin is not possible.

And its placement. This creates – just to keep more of the narrow south side free – a huge evening sun field where it is not enjoyed: behind the garage. Well, I guess I wasn’t that inimitable after all.

What age are we actually talking about here? It feels like you are 60.

There are people who are quite opinion-resistant. I could actually not care if wants to stick to his guns. The woman was apparently still open to suggestions – the man absolutely not. It's a pity for the woman, who seemingly also has the "something's not right here" feeling, like everyone here does (except, of course, the esteemed gentleman). What I want to say here is this: I am one more opinion that says: , your draft is crap. But judging by how you present yourself here, you wouldn’t even believe it if 8 billion people told you your draft is crap. And on top of that: there’s no helping you, when it comes to draft suggestions from Katja you completely ignore them, and you’re even so brazen as to say: "My 'new' draft already quite resembles Katja’s." No, it really doesn’t! Personally, I am always most amazed by the angelic patience of the people here who are trying to help. Regards
