Here is the most recent version of the living/dining area, with which I gratefully say goodbye for today.

Stairs with a 17 cm rise and only 25 cm tread depth are not ideal in my opinion. Measure the tread depth on a few stairs that are easy to walk on. It will be more than 25 cm. Especially pay attention when going down.

The kitchen planning is unfortunately still rather suboptimal.

I just walked up what I consider to be quite a good staircase here into my office: 18/25. With a smaller rise, you end up with 18 steps and an oversized landing of 4 m. With 17 steps and a 17 cm rise, the landing consumes 347.50 cm. I can't justify that to my wife.

Kitchens are like cars. Some like Panamera, some like Multipla. The workspace and organization are fine in my view. There is plenty of space. The only thing is the dance floor in the middle is somewhat annoying. But why not?

So you think someone in an anonymous forum will be interested in the long term in what options you are considering for financing your house? Dude, honestly, no one gives a damn about you and your loan. And that you claim your floor plan is nearly identical to mine, I take that almost as an insult. I'm out of here too. Good luck.

Several decades... I see... maybe, because of your wealthy age, you should build a bungalow?

Well, I also see horses puking

Somewhere in nirvana. On request. The questionnaire should be filled out in the first post to be able to participate in a discussion.

Strange example: somehow like with the milk and the cow – at least want to milk myself. Otherwise, I might as well shop at the supermarket

Oh... the difference mostly lies in the details. I don’t see any similarity now between yours and Kaho’s. You don’t reinvent a house after all, you design it with specifications. Those are the same.

Stairs are not my thing. Those are kbt’s favorites.

Because that makes it harder to function? Because it causes long ways?! No storage space where you unpack or pack? Have to get rid of hot stuff, etc.? Already the fridge behind the door... ever heard of an ergonomic workstation in the kitchen?

The only thing that matters here is the design. But somehow not even that anymore

The kitchen is terrifying, it does not belong in a house that can still be planned. Staircase "optimization" probably means squeezing a nominally acceptable rise onto the smallest possible floor area?

I had already mentioned one essential prerequisite for a breakthrough out of the building outline-building window dilemma: two decisive sword strokes, one to separate house / garage and one to separate the garages from each other.

Then, for example, one (or in my opinion better only one parking space) can be placed to the south, and the second with the storage room attached to the north. This allows the house to gain more depth.

But that is probably too radical. I must remember the idea of shifting one's own stubbornness onto the wife - simply brilliant
