Purchase decision small semi-detached house 100 sqm from 1930

Is the sheet metal really that much cheaper? Roughly estimated, the tiles should come to around 3000-4000€. I would bet that the slate cladding on the dormers and chimney drives up the price, as that is quite a bit of work. Maybe use sheet metal for that? Even though I find it nice.

The item "Dacheindeckung" alone amounts to 38k gross. Dormers with 10k € gross. Demolition work (4,300 € gross), plumbing work (2,150 € gross), site setup and scaffolding (4,250 € gross).

Second offer received with 32k gross (and still 2% discount). Exactly the same scope of services. Maybe the roof tiles from the first offer were still encrusted with Swarovski stones, which I didn't know about...

And, even if no photovoltaic system is planned right now, have it checked whether it makes sense to already integrate mounting options. In any case, the roof should be designed for snow load and photovoltaic systems.

So the material costs were not decisive, it was more the costs for e.g. scaffolding (1,500 euros vs 3,000 euros) or the hourly rates (52 euros net vs. 67 euros net). I just find it cheeky. I also asked again, according to the expensive roofer “a completely normal price.”
