I haven't completely said goodbye to the ceiling heating yet. Maybe someone has some experience with it :-) the ceiling is going to be lowered anyway and the room height should allow it… Is it possible to install electrical wiring and heating pipes in the ceiling? It should be doable, right?

I think we will take over the house. We are already looking for more space, the price is reasonable, a comprehensive renovation is affordable for us, there are currently no other options, and I believe we can make it nice in terms of the area as well. And as mentioned - if it no longer fits in 10 years, we can always rent it out or sell it and look around elsewhere. :) Support here and the arguments have strengthened me a bit.

Why do you absolutely want to take down the ceiling?

Either for indirect lighting or for spotlights. I just think it’s beautiful.

I wonder that too… You don't seriously mean that, do you? And when I look at the picture and scale up the front door, I also don't currently see 2.50 m.

Why the surprise? 2.30 meters is completely fine, isn’t it? The 2.50 m are measured ...
