Yep. Leave out storage, but fill the north side completely, or at least one full string (usually around 20 modules). With such a low roof pitch, it’s worth it. Immediately make sure that no satellite dish, vents, or similar are planned in the way of the modules.
By the way, the highest savings effect is achieved by fitting the roof with hooks directly during the roofing. So this should definitely be commissioned in time. If the roof is already covered, it costs a lot of time.
It would be even cheaper if you don’t cover the roof with tiles but with metal sheets. You can’t see it under the modules anyway. The roof lasts longer, is more watertight, tiles don’t get damaged, the roofing is cheaper, and the installation of the photovoltaic system is also cheaper.
Currently, prices around €1300 per kWp can be achieved for systems from 15 kWp. That’s new construction, so it should work for €1000 to €1100. No scaffold, the electrician is already there, savings on the roof... By the way, these prices are not hearsay, I have the offer (with the €1300 on existing buildings) on the table. It’s two weeks old, expensive BaWü.
If the roof is going to be covered at the end of this year anyway, definitely order now! Nothing will surely get better by then, you have to hope that everything arrives on time.
And then it doesn’t matter when you move in. As soon as the photovoltaic system is connected and the electrical distribution box is fully installed, it can go into operation. That definitely helps right away with the drying heating program of the screed! You just have to instruct the electrician accordingly...
