Our house is also from 1930 with double-shell masonry. In 2017, there was a new roof installed here and almost all the windows were replaced with triple-glazed ones. We specially brought a mold expert along for the inspection. Everything was inconspicuous. The two short outer sides have no windows and are clad on the inside with drywall/Styrofoam (and behind that still air to the wall). We only sometimes have windows fogged up from the outside.

Well, precisely because the new windows will be so much better, the masonry will be the problem in comparison. And yes, there are measures against it besides insulation, but you have to take them. Heating, ventilation, no cabinets against exterior walls.

That makes a big difference here!

Our masonry is also double-layered ... hence the possibility with the [Einblasdämmung].

Ah, OK. Yes, that reduces the risk, but I would still remain vigilant. And they said, the question was whether double or triple makes a significant difference regarding moisture damage. And I would say it doesn’t matter, because in both cases the dew point is reached at the wall first. Oh, but I am a layman and in this case without practical experience. So write only with acquired knowledge...

Then quite a lot speaks in favor of triple-glazed windows and blown-in insulation, hmm? The costs of blown-in insulation are really reasonable compared to [WDVS].

Do you know ubakus? With it, you can calculate the U-value of your walls. If you do that, you will find that there is a world of difference between your walls without blown-in insulation and with blown-in insulation. The first centimeters of insulation are always the most effective. So do it - assuming the budget allows.
