A dark room is no good either, but a sun-filled room can be quite annoying. This means you have to pull the blinds down to be able to work on the screen - and then it’s dark!

As you plan for good studios: large windows facing north: lots of light, but no direct sun. These are ideal working conditions.

We tinkered a bit yesterday and currently have the attached status. Paths are not fully drawn in ;)
The carport has been reduced because the large carport would lose its boundary privilege and then everything would have to be moved quite far to the west. Additionally, the smaller carport still allows the house to be placed more or less behind it instead of beside it. For a garden shed on the east boundary, there would still be 4 meters of continuous length available in the boundary area, with a width of up to 5m feasible. This would also be within the allowed 40cbm.
Due to short distances, a house entrance in the east would be advisable, with the added advantage that it would be on the side away from the weather. With an entrance on the knee wall side, there would correspondingly be an east and west roof, which, as far as I know, would also be better for the photovoltaic system (goal: self-consumption).
Terrace facing southwest; so far, we are not quite decided on which corner, currently both are still in consideration ;)

For the internal floor plan, we need to get some inspiration this evening on how to best accomplish it. For variants with a basement, it is somewhat easier; without a basement, I see difficulties in accommodating the study in addition to the utility room.

Great praise for the plan. Try it with an elongated house and make the carport a bit wider. It's already tight.

Since we don't know exactly what kind of house will be built yet, we have simply assumed 10*10m. However, it was definitely helpful to estimate the dimensions (and the boundary area). The boundary area is also the problem with the carport. If I understand correctly, I am only allowed to place it on the boundary as long as it is a maximum of 20sqm. That would be exactly 4*5m, even though that is quite tight for 2 cars. A proper solution would still be needed.

Somewhere in a carport shop with the 20 sqm in the outdoor area. I have already tried the State Building Code BW at the same time

§ 6
Setback areas in special cases

(1) In the setback areas of structures as well as without their own setback areas the following are permitted:
...
2.
Garages, greenhouses and buildings without habitable rooms with a wall height of up to 3 m and a wall area of up to 25 m²,
3.
structural installations that are not buildings, provided they are not higher than 2.5 m or their wall area does not exceed 25 m²,

That would mean that the 5*5 carport is allowed since the theoretical wall area would be 2*5=10 sqm. I don’t know now if it falls under garages or "not buildings". But then it needs a building permit, right? And do I then need the neighbor’s approval?
