But you can also see that individual lifestyles shape us. For me, the bathtub in the bathroom is like the stove in the kitchen. The latter is easier to retrofit, the former not so quickly. My parents have not taken baths for 40 years, my husband and I about twice a week on average. If the house is technically in good condition/well maintained/no renovation backlog and not messed up in any other way (choose one of these) it will find a buyer. If a missing bathtub prevents a sale, it could equally be another "missing" feature or different taste, etc.
That also occurred to us. I wanted to have one last year, we both liked it, somehow the economy has to make money off us. ... what happened? Nowhere did we find a sensible place because of the sloping ceilings. Then I googled what the thing is actually good for (better late than never ;)) and realized that our bathtub replaces exactly that. Or the other way around: if you don’t have a bathtub, then if you need warmth, install an infrared cabin. Only: then plan accordingly. P.s. My granddaughter is bathed almost every evening, it’s part of the calming ritual. So much for only Saturdays...! Saturday bathing ritual for children, my mom told me about from her childhood days, was like 1950-1960 ;)Infrared cabin
