A basement staircase from the living area hardly makes sense.
The questionnaire is missing for further information.

- cannot do without:

Why did the design turn out the way it is now?

That looks to me very much like the Regnauer house in Poing. ;) I really like the floor plan, you always have to make a few compromises and I think there are few here.

Yes exactly :) I just wonder where one would put the wardrobe in this Regnauer house? That's why we rearranged a bit and made it a little smaller.

I don't like the entrance through the kitchen. Do you really want a corner bench? I would leave out the pantry. You have a basement. You like the separation between living and dining, but I somehow see a lot of space that is never used except as a traffic area. I would leave the upper floor as it is. From the hallway, I would go to the basement, from the living area upstairs. Where have you planned the terrace? I am a fan of the kitchen being connected to the terrace.

Funny, the wardrobe was also what would have given us a headache about the house. Otherwise, every time we walk through, I find it somehow really appealing. I also don't feel like you always have to go through the kitchen. Maybe you have to experience it "live" to like the floor plan. As I said, I think it's great!
