Regarding assembly. Yes, Ikea charges 200€ per kitchen meter. But a few clicks on MyHammer.de and offers come flying in that cost far less than half for the installation. At least that’s how it was for us. We have a 7m kitchen. Ikea assembly = 1400€ ... On MyHammer everything was there, from 400-1400€. The one for 400€ is, by the way, a carpenter from the area who apparently likes to earn the money for a Saturday’s work on the side. But keep in mind I’m probably doing helper work there.

Delivery depending on quantity max. 150€.

I already assembled a base cabinet last week as a test because I wanted to fix the kitchen dimensions (plinth height due to the vacuum robot, etc.), and now I want to try whether an inner drawer carrier can be installed.

The assembly of the 80 cm base cabinet with 2 drawers and an inner drawer took 1.5 hours, but I made 2 small mistakes. I think from the 2nd to 3rd cabinet on, it will go significantly faster.

I expect the kitchen to take a weekend with a total of 3-4 people. The countertop will be made by the carpenter anyway, it runs into 2 window jambs.

So you have now assembled the drawer cabinet?
Then test the drawers now and put a bunch of dishes in the lower or middle drawer. In an 80 cm drawer, large and small, as well as deep plates and a bunch of bowls should fit; at least that was the case in my old kitchen.
But be careful!!! Secure it at the top beforehand, so it doesn’t tip forward.
Move it 2 to 3 times a day and then see if they come off or if the gap of the cover panels widens.

I will do it, but with a different weight. I need my plates in the kitchen. As you wrote, I have to secure it first because of the risk of tipping. However, our plates will go into short 80s later, where the leverage is a bit smaller. I would like the pots in the LeMans pull-out.

Yes, but what’s the point? Ikea uses solid Blum slides, the test will take several years, so you better take a weight.

The slides on my furniture were pulled down properly – you could tell by the different widths between the panels. It was also not fixable and looked accordingly.
