I don't even know what to say to something like this. First of all, I expect a professional to do their job correctly, especially with the electrical work. Then I already wrote that my husband tested it, which probably saved his life. We always test the electricity again. And if you have an electrician who shows up for a 2-minute job, then congratulations. We don't have that. You can't get any craftsmen here, and even less so for something like that. And we don't do major electrical work ourselves; we get professionals (or should I put that in quotation marks here given the result?) or call a friend who is an electrician because we don't trust ourselves to do it. So calm down.

Yes, with us. We had that just this summer after our move. Well, there were a few more lamps. But I think as long as you don't ask them from 50 km away and pay their travel costs, they do it, even for fewer lamps. Maybe you have a few other small things they can help with. They are definitely much easier to get "quickly" than electricians.

By the way, my husband is always amazed at how lamp installations and such things are handled in Germany. He has never done it and would never touch it because he grew up in Australia, and there it is simply not legal. You are not allowed to touch the electrical system there. Lamps & co are usually part of the equipment of houses and apartments there, like kitchens, and are sold/rented together with the property. Taking kitchens and lamps with you was extremely strange to him at first.
Many of the machines that are a standard part of the home workshop in Germany are professional tools there that no one has at home.
