House construction costs, how were they for you?

Yes, you recognized that correctly. I / we did a lot ourselves. Especially during the shell construction and later with the interior (laying the floor, doing the electrical work as much as possible, etc.) (where you can save the most / do it yourself). I just wanted to show that even "small" people with only a low income can build / afford a house if you just put in a lot of effort!!! Or if possible take it easier at work and put the working hours into the house, which in the end might even be cheaper than hiring expensive craftsmen/construction companies!

I'm sorry, but as a guideline this is absolutely not suitable. The costs are thrown together way too wildly and the property is beyond good and evil. And since you posted this not only here but also in the green forum, it seems more about showing off. If the costs are even correct at all, because which electrician wires an entire single-family house for €2000, even without material?

PS: And of course you can save a few euros if you do something yourself. But that's not possible for everyone, I've already driven the 2500km and only did the garden shed myself ;)

I also think that these numbers are realistic for very few people. Even with a lot of personal effort, these numbers should no longer be achievable, simply because materials have become more expensive. And very few people have the time and technical expertise to do so much themselves.

The numbers are so far off the mark that I almost want to suspect trolling.

I think it's good that a project with a lot of own effort is shown. Of course, not everyone can do that. But you can see that it is also possible for the average earner to build a house if you build small, don't want every gimmick, and can/want to do a lot yourself.

I find it unnecessary to immediately accuse it of trolling.

If he only has to connect it, I can imagine that. You can chase slots and lay cables on your own.

that’s the feeling you get, yes. Possible, connections through personal contacts or probably illegal work on weekends. But it’s not the norm and certainly not representative for such a thread. Today it’s probably more expensive, that’s true. But you can save a lot if you’re not completely clueless. The breakdown is very confusing and comes to just over 1415€/sqm of living space. We moved in at the end of 2020 and ended up in the same region as well (house only, without land but with additional building costs and lots of own work).
