No sorry, I thought you meant that it shouldn’t happen. Otherwise completely agreed. Ah ok so the idea is not to plan a separate entrance. The background is actually: a north-facing bedroom is nice, but it’s better to plan the bathrooms stacked, right? Then the rest decides by itself. I find the approach with the rotated staircase spontaneously nicer, but definitely better than the current one. Although ’s sketch even looks slightly nicer. Maybe that’s also due to the drawn details including roof drainage for the terrace. I’m amazed how much genius lies in simplicity. A big thank you. What is the 1.8x1.2m there at the entrance and on the upper floor? And this staircase is 18/27 or what dimension is that now?

I am now also somewhat "overwhelmed" reading that you want to pack so much into one house. I mean, in terms of appearance and style the house is already very nice. You or you all have big wishes: an open space between living and dining area, so a bit more generous for the playing children, then a breakfast bar (I think that was mentioned here in the thread), then two offices, one of which is supposed to be used almost continuously by the parents. Then a dressing room as well as a possible retreat room in the attic. I already mentioned it: necessary rooms are being neglected. The utility room does not play the role of housing technology, but the airlock possibility seems to be priority number one here. Yesterday I also drew myself again. Something came out of it, unfortunately the upper floor is somewhat lagging behind. And I (I always do this) got really annoyed by fixed must-haves around which you have to plan. It seems nothing can be planned properly and nicely because this Damocles sword hangs over you of having to build in a senseless* must-have and upstairs it no longer works, the budget is blown and everything becomes too big overall. Or the original poster wonders about a spacious WC or a wall that does not suit him. *Senseless because every normal person can enter the house through the front door and hallway with groceries. There they take off shoes and jacket and can calmly bring the groceries to the kitchen. Life and the house can be almost perfect, welcoming the house with a nice entrance, but one still wants to misuse the already too small utility room as hallway, pantry and wardrobe. And yes, of course it can be used as laundry and storage room, but fundamentally a utility room is not a nice room - it is simply the most useful. But, long story short, I will post the draft here later.

Well, the description still wasn’t precise enough, I don’t recognize my needs in this way. I’ll make it more binary (room size still indicative): Must have: living room on the ground floor with space for 2 people ~10m2, guest WC with shower on the ground floor ~5m2, short distances between kitchen and dining table ~10-15m2 (with dining area), 3 bedrooms ~13m2 and 1 office ~8m2, master bedroom must fit a 2x2m bed and a 5-door wardrobe ~3m wide (walk-in closet doesn’t matter). Nice to have: short way from garage/parking to kitchen and storage, e.g. utility room (I don’t care if it’s a breakthrough or just a short path, unlike “normal people” I carry the stuff in one go). Kitchen with island. Cooking/dining/living area preferably odor-separated from the rest. “Living room preferably quiet and still very bright.” “Dining area sunny and with a bit more space for kids to play on the ground floor, which can be observed from the daily work in the kitchen.” :) No idea if sensible and want to discuss: converted attic with fixed stairs. Technology partly in the garage. So I hope this clarifies the “airlock” and allows focusing on the must haves. Sorry that I have still described the input unclearly.

Here again is my ground floor, the upper floor is similar to , only with abber corner, but you could use Katja's and do without abbe corner. The house is too big for the budget with 95 sqm on the ground floor. 's should have around 100. The attic stairs can be done via the other staircase. My program can also only display roofs and dormers in a limited way.

344 Depth in the kitchen is limited, top row 60, row distance to island 100, island 97, leaving 77 for passage by the car, presumably the main daily path into the house. Utility room door maybe better on the right side?

I think the OP should first finalize the attic topic, also regarding the budget, before having new plans made. Placing the equipment partly in the garage is, in my opinion, also rather a crazy idea. Which exactly, and what do you hope to achieve with it? Should the room be integrated into the thermal envelope for that?
