I thought so too, only that the kids are more there in the afternoon and then the sun should be top right on the plan. But okay, good to know that we wanted the same thing.

I can understand the bathroom door because of the roof slope, but I don’t understand the slope and what that has to do with additional costs.

I can't say off the top of my head whether the incline in the first stair turn from the start runs into the sloping roof and whether the headroom might be tight there. That would have to be calculated. That's what I meant. Regarding the additional costs: you have a dormer included in the original plan. That means it is included in the total price here. Whether it is at the front, back, or somewhere else on the house should not affect the costs. So if you move it from front to back, it remains cost-neutral. If you need an additional one (e.g., for the office), it will be more expensive.

So the entrance definitely looks better, all in all the entrance from the front is probably the most promising. In contrast, the kitchen-dining-living area looks like a Tetris-slalom landscape, which looks unfortunate. And I haven’t seen the upper floor yet. I had actually expected you to develop your own improvement suggestion from #4. That was much more promising.

Viewed from a stylish house – only they had an atrium and an open staircase in the dining area. Not Tetris, but zoned!

Ah okay thanks. That would also mean that the conservatory in your design causes additional costs, with minimal savings compared to the normal conservatory.

Yes, presumably such a conservatory costs extra. But we cannot know exactly where your priorities lie now and what your general contractor would want for it. In the design, you can also simply leave it out and build it as an open terrace. I included it to show the option and because, of course, it is nicer. But something like that could also be retrofitted later, for example.
