Then just reshuffle the rooms. Swap the kitchen and living room then the kitchen is also closer to the main terrace. Sleep above the new kitchen, now living room, bathroom above the utility room, the 2 hobby/dressing rooms on the other side of the house.

Concrete ceiling, you almost never hear anything, in the new house it can be different.

If you are so sensitive to noise, I hope you have thoroughly reconsidered your decision in favor of a prefabricated house and backed it up with facts. In terms of building acoustics, prefabricated houses mostly do not come close to solid construction, especially the usually used wooden beam ceilings.

My husband and I have also thought about and discussed moving the bedroom. We don’t want to place it above the HWT because we can’t yet know exactly what the noise level will be like there. We don’t want to put it above the living room because one of us sometimes listens to music/watches TV late into the night and the other has already gone to bed.

Today we received the certificate of the binding land registry entry for the plot of land we purchased. In that regard, we are now completely secure. Now we only need to sell our currently inhabited house, then we can start with the architect consultation, commissioning surveying, etc.

As it currently looks, things could continue here soon. We have a purchase commitment for our previous house and a notary appointment. I will only be fully confident once the money is in our account and the previous house has been handed over, but we have reason for cautious hope to soon belong to the home builders present here. I am really looking forward to exchanging ideas with you and hope not to be too annoying.
