I can only agree, since we are also only building for the two of us. Of course, we will/want visitors including children and others, but ultimately we are building for ourselves. Visitors are welcome in OUR life. Neither a resale value nor what is commonly done nowadays interests us. Of course, one (I) has to be careful not to categorically swim against the current, but I take the liberty to decide things this way, even if others don’t understand it. I believe it is difficult for everyone to escape the common mainstream or so-called must-haves. I would definitely implement really great things at least in some areas, which I would enjoy permanently; then it would be easier for me to maybe make some compromises elsewhere. Doing everything mediocre would not be my thing.

That may apply to builders under 30. I think all this junk of neednthaves makes it easy to just ignore them. And maybe the Berlin attitude also contributes to the fact that Mehnschtriehm sounds completely unsexy to me.

If you intend to fight one with the other, I would recommend a good internist within reach. (SCNR) But it definitely sounds good!

I think it is also more widespread regardless of age than we would like or believe, although exceptions are possible. We older ones are just attacked with different weapons, yet we, or the so-called best agers, have long been chosen as a worthwhile target.

I observe that especially "the elderly" at least in the past succumb to a certain kind of mainstream. At least I don't see such uniform clothing in any other age group as with those over 70 (beige windbreaker, beige pants, strange beige or black leather shoes with holes in them and still beige fine-knit socks; shirt and a beige pullover vest with reddish diamonds on it. - Sorry, I don't pay much attention to the ladies there, but I wouldn't be surprised to mainly see beige skirts). Recently, my father suddenly had the winter version of said shoes without holes, but they have such a characteristic shape). That really seems to have something to do with age.
