Our kitchen consultant also advised us against a pull-out pantry cabinet. The alternative looks like this, and we are very satisfied with it:

Here’s to a fresh start
We just went back again and now have a setup that we are quite satisfied with.
We have swapped the oven again for a Neff BVR 4522 N. Furthermore, we addressed the drawer under the stove – thanks again for the tip. Otherwise, we have matched the fronts a bit more (on the dishwasher side consistently 45 cm / 30 cm drawers or panels). The counter was extended by 30 cm and a surrounding splash guard was planned (we're still not completely sure about this). Behind the stove there should be a 90 cm glass panel in the front color. We have a dishwasher with a cutlery basket so that when the appliance is open, we can use the upper drawer of the island (we tried this out in the studio and actually found it quite charming that the sink is next to the dishwasher in the corner).
The fronts are Magnolia soft lacquer without cassettes and Oak Chalet. The worktop and carcasses are also Oak Chalet.

Unfortunately, the price has risen again to €11,200 – in the meantime it was once at €10k (although in a slightly different configuration and with a different oven).

Our pharmacy cabinet divides the shelves with metal rods, so that as a shorter person I can also see from below what is stored at the very top. I have found that I often had duplicate stockpiling and followed the principle "out of sight, out of mind" because I simply could not properly oversee a cabinet with drawers. A lot fits into such a cabinet! Our upper cabinets have glass shelves.

Anyone else have feedback on the last draft? The prices are only valid until Wednesday ... no, but we need to decide soon, otherwise moving in will become tight.

So I don't think that our Ikea medicine cabinet is stiff, although it is very much so.

Pharmacy cabinets are no longer available at Ikea as far as I know. Only a 20-inch US with a metal cart, and that one - at least in the furniture store - is often so worn out that it no longer closes 100% (it is not available with soft-close).
