Honestly, I have never seen a floor plan (and I have seen very, very many) that would meet my expectations. Sometimes the pantry is missing, sometimes the storage room, sometimes the children's rooms are too small... there is always something. Everyone just has their own ideas.
Most floor plans somehow fit more or less everyone. Only we are individual. The floor plan must be adapted to you. You want this stylish fireplace. Nobody argues here.
You want a generous entrance - you got a cramped entrance and an oversized hallway.
Pantry, keep in mind it will not be cool in a new house. Our drinks are now stored in the garage.
Draw once how you now want the kitchen/dining/fireplace, properly to scale, as you would buy the furniture with island and so on.
Then swap kitchen and living area and draw with only one dining spot. You enter the house through a not exactly generous wardrobe, look at a wall, and the large hallway (for what) is not perceived. Square meters are not everything. The effect, where the eye goes, the furniture layout are more important.
