Thank you very much for your helpful contributions, but I would also like to express my opinion about your suggestions, and with your aggressive manner, I would thankfully decline the well-intentioned advice. I do appreciate many suggestions and hopefully something good will come out of it in the end. By the way, we have received the 3D representation from the planner. Even if we lack the imagination in this regard, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the 3D model. So, THANK YOU, but you can go ahead and rant in the other topics or not...

That is EXACTLY the mistake!
The stove planner (I’m reading this right, that the chimney builder did this for you, right?) drew you an incorrect 3D plan and now you imagine that it looks like that. But it doesn’t, for example if you don’t reduce the kitchen so much that it at most corresponds to the kitchen of a cramped two-room apartment. Do you really want that? To build a new house for the family but with a kitchen that already reaches its limits during the nightly meal preparation? I don’t even want to talk about baking cookies or having guests...

Throw this little image from the stove builder in the trash, trying to “put yourself into it” won’t help you because you are getting false ideas there. He wants to sell his stove and it should look fancy at first. That you then practically have hardly any more space for a kitchen doesn’t bother him in the slightest. He just staged his stove nicely and nothing else.

And everyone’s patience is eventually exhausted when, after already 10 pages of (good!) advice, nothing seems to get through here.

I couldn't manage it. But I would definitely review it with the architect. I just wonder, what do you all have against a children's room in the north? The older son (almost 14) wished for his room to face the street (probably to be able to notice if the parents or friends are at the door). Sun didn't matter to him, which is why there are big windows, so at least plenty of light comes in. And I like a lot of sun in the bedroom, especially when the sun rises, which is why the orientation southeast for the parents' room. Sitting on the toilet I don't necessarily need the morning sun.

Why does such information only appear on page 10???

If sonny boy wishes it that way, then of course that's okay - but no one here can know that and then the normal allocation is: children's rooms on the sunny side, bedroom in the cooler corner.

What kind of great job do you actually have where you get to watch the sunrise from bed? I have no time or inclination for that in the morning, I just somehow tumble out of bed and head to the bathroom.

The kitchen does not have 20 sqm, but the dining/cooking area together. And if the table is where it is marked on the plan and also in the 3D implementation, then there is no space left for the long kitchen unit. Capisco?
