14x14.5m

About our floor plan: The kitchen could also be turned into a separate room. The distance between the small kitchen recess and the wall panel is large enough to comfortably plan a kitchen there. We have a long desk against the wall panel. If we had accidentally had a third child, the kitchen would have been pushed forward just like that. The bedroom should be granted one meter more. It’s always a bit tight with the bed (currently positioned sideways to the window) and with a 180 cm bed, we have 60 cm on each side. It doesn’t bother me at all, but my husband likes to complain about it. I find the children’s rooms sufficient in size (just under 11 and 12 sqm). However, it must be understood that the furniture needs to be rearranged and optimized from time to time. My son has three coffee tables in his room to manage the Lego invasion. For my daughter, I pray that she doesn’t indulge in her Playmobil addiction as much. But what am I complaining about, I like rearranging furniture. And since my husband finally moved the paintball stuff to the attic, I have enough space in the storage room. The utility room still has a huge cat litter box (the size of a coffin). So there would still be storage possibilities there too.

Since I (mostly) keep my promises, here is another version. Parents and living room in the west, children and kitchen in the south, terrace just under 6 meters, with a roof overhang of 40cm 6.40. Now also with a fireplace, which I left out in the previous versions

If you now leave out the doors to the residential wings, it becomes a bit more open and they will always be open anyway, since no one wants to open 2 doors in a row. They are not in any airlock.

Hello, thank you again.... regarding your draft: If I understand correctly, the terrace is 6m deep? We hadn’t thought about something like that until now... Entrance, bathroom and bedroom would then have to be on the north side, right? Great: separate parents/kids area.. I would also completely remove the first wall to the kids' rooms... Otherwise an interesting approach.. I need to look at it more closely with my wife.... what could definitely be disturbing is the dining table directly at the entrance to the living area.... I tried rotating the variant from , i.e. all bedrooms + bathroom on the long side, which makes the rooms bigger. We now have to think about whether we really want the kids/parents separation or if the compromise with one bathroom in between is enough.. it has pros and cons... So far, I find your draft best with the separation, although a 6m wide terrace was actually the wish..... Thank you very much... We now have different variants.. we are waiting for the architect.. let’s see what else he has up his sleeve.. then we will decide... Although I don’t like seeing the couch from the entrance area here...
