I had spoken of an idea "a la Vita, Weiss" and also put it into practice:
Of course, I also had the desired basement in mind... but I have to say that it is quite difficult on the ground floor, i.e. a bungalow with so much space, to create in the "middle" of such a space-consuming house something where you don’t end up with endless corridors or dark niches. In the basement everything is unsatisfactory. The rooms are dark inside, even though there is an enclosed light well and a panoramic window. An apartment there would only be possible with a struggle, and then only with closed eyes.
Well then: I succeeded in an initial approach. Everything stays under 15 meters side length. I didn’t pay attention to the area anymore... and also light wells, the basement terrace mentioned by the original poster (OP), I no longer see feasible with the floor area ratio. The house in terms of area practically takes up the entire plot: 3.7 or 6 meters in front and on the sides (light height also requires boundary distance) mean that there’s really no garden left.
I’ll spare the details on this – the other discussants know about such a problem – ultimately the OP has to know how he positions the house on his property.
The only thing I logically moved is the terrace to the southeast. Since it is covered, at least it is protected from the wind here, a southwest terrace would be windy and the covering would also be of no use. Besides, I wanted to do the children a favor with the west side :)
But basically the designs could be countered, the garage could also be moved from west to east.
Much depends on each other, so moving this and that is usually not possible without something else no longer working optimally.
As far as I understood, the children do not need their own bathroom?
Here are the designs. Note: interior walls measure only a sketch-ready 10 cm, the exterior walls 38 cm. The kitchen island is 2.40 m long, the bedroom windows 1.80 m wide, the panoramic windows measure 3 meters.
North is, of course, at the top ;)
I’m still here for any questions :)

Wow, first of all thank you very much for your effort..
I really think it’s great that here someone tries to help the members...Thanks
I hope it is permitted for a new member to share his views here without them being understood as inappropriate criticism.
I hadn’t even tried placing the bedroom on the north side, because it seems illogical to me to put the relaxation room just 4 m away from the street... Furthermore, the terrace is way too small... It would barely be enough for 3-4 people... It would be quite tight when having visitors... In my design it is almost 6 m long.
Otherwise interesting approaches, which might really help me further.. Thanks again....
Honestly, the orientation towards the terrace is also not fixed yet... southeast, more shelter + morning sun, but southwest --> evening sun
No idea what would be better.....??? There are probably different opinions here as well....
If we agree that it would be sufficient to separate the children’s rooms from the bedroom only by one bathroom + possibly a dressing room, then ’s floor plan looks the most harmonious to me... Maybe just change the living room design a bit and it could work for us....
I fully agree with you, very little garden remains.... We do have a 6 m wide meadow behind the garden and then 6 m high trees before the next properties will eventually be developed, but maybe we should consider compressing the depth a little more... Lateral distances could be larger, but I don’t find that a problem....
It’s really terrible that when you talk to 10 people, you get 10 different opinions..... Especially when trying to gather experience... Everyone praises their own solution and would always do it that way again......
Thanks again
