Bungalow floor plan 160-170 sqm with basement

What I don't understand about the whole bungalow idea: everything is supposed to be on one level, but the children are to be separated as much as possible. Even if their rooms are zoned separately, they remain on the same floor. And that feels "closer" than knowing the loitering teenager upstairs (in your case, in the basement).

For me personally, a bungalow never gives such a cozy living feeling as a multi-story house. It quickly feels like commercial premises: here another windowless corridor, here another room, here too much space in the middle of a room.

Here they sell the bungalows a bit like stale beer. These are the houses that no one wants and then buys out of embarrassment and lack of alternatives. In the past, there were plenty of bungalows in (poorly) imitated farmhouse style. In just 20 years, your bungalow will take over the mantle of the farmhouse.

I guess it's a matter of taste...

I have now been active in this forum for a few months and have already been able to take away some valuable tips, thanks. However, it must also be said that there are different opinions on many topics. Otherwise, all houses would be the same..... I have meanwhile gone through many floor plans here in the forum and can partly not understand how some are presented as good and others as bad... My drawing has zero dark small corridors.. large, illuminated rooms, dining area and kitchen with plenty of light, sofa on the covered terrace (so you don't get heatstroke...).. All rooms big enough.... I have thought about the statement that I have no sense of space for a long time... Maybe someone can help me??? I would also be very interested in the opinion of kbt09.. I have read many great posts there... Attached again is the adjusted floor plan.. I would be really happy.. Thanks

@lotafreak .... there is nothing here that I haven’t already read ... I find the layout suboptimal (children’s room etc.). I also don’t like having to check again where north is, how the position on the plot is, etc. And I think new floor plans should always be presented in context, if they are not, it really kills my desire to comment.

okay, I can understand... north is of course at the entrance, i.e. at the street side...
