Good choice:

Just imagine, he plans a private zone for you with a children's area and a parents' area, with the private bathroom in the middle. Guest toilet in the public area for the guests. Possibly an outside door from the pantry or utility room. Wouldn't that be great? A large open space is not a masterpiece, but what surrounds it should also be coherent.
That way you are pointing out flaws to him that you actually don't want to have.
But keep in mind: compromises always have to be made. Few compromises are better than a whole house of compromises.

Have you already commented on this? With edge development and garage, there is more possible, right?

To be honest, I don't know exactly what is meant by edge development...
Minimum distance to the street is 3m. The garage may be built on the property boundary.
The 15m still apply per building, even if the properties have been merged.

And why was it then GU 3, and not GU 1?

The complete package.
GU 1 salesperson GU 3 architect known from the start, site manager met long before signing
GU 1 would not have taken care of the demolition
GU 3 did
GU 3 went to the construction site with the structural engineer right after the first meeting and took care of the slope
GU 1 adapted a model house (surprisingly well) GU 3 worked out the floor plan with us. He didn’t just throw a few pictures at us. He sat there with pencil, ruler, and graph paper at our kitchen table.
GU 3 no trained sales phrases, no numbers, more individual, personal, craftsmen around the church tower, more transparent, no specification center, more craftsmanship, less gloss, no 3D. That only came sometime with the building application (not needed either)

Hello again, as mentioned, I have taken your advice and for now given the architect all wishes/ideas but without my scribbles.... This will take a few weeks for now..

Still, I can't help but put my ideas on a sheet in a meaningful way...
But I won't send anything to the architect.. he should get his chance.

I have taken the criticism into account and optimized many points (in my opinion)

    [*]Kitchen, dining and living area now have enough light.
    [*]Wardrobe now also fits in the bedroom.
    [*]Living room is away from the private area.
    [*]No dark hallways.
    [*]Because of the window in the stairwell, there is additional light in the entrance area.
    [*]I don't find the way from the children's room to the bathroom far..

The area towards the stairs is open.. Then you get to the bathroom... I'm not quite sure if that's good... It's somewhat separated from the entrance area.. maybe that is even better.....
