Bungalow floor plan 160-170 sqm with basement

The Vita house is not a family house and has all the necessary utility rooms on one level. The kitchen is well zoned. As can also be clearly seen, the bungalow has plenty of window surfaces, making everything bright and friendly. Necessary areas such as the dining area are flooded with light - contrary to your plan. However, in my eyes, the Vita also has some drawbacks that do not have to be. It is not barrier-free.

I would not have recognized the Vita Haus by Weiss. Great that you are combining the two plots and are "only" allowed to build a single-family house. Is the footpath heavily frequented?

Where do the initially mentioned max 15m wall length come from? Do they also apply to two combined plots? Does the parking space (carport or garage) count towards this?

Why don’t you just include the roof?
The basement is also a second floor with stairs. You have a second level. Only it doesn’t even get daylight and is expensive to build.
Take, for example, the Schwörerhaus Bungalow E 15-265.2.
When the kids are gone, the house is still big and partly unused. The basement is empty.
Do you really want to live in a 160sqm house + 160sqm basement when you’re so frail that you can’t manage the stairs anymore?

Because we like the look better. If necessary, the kids can live there with their girlfriends; if not, the empty basement doesn’t bother me... if it works out, we will at least use the LARGE sauna with relaxation room until the very end....

I understand that for many, cost is the main criterion, and that’s right... But we’re lucky that we can build the way we want.

No! You have enough, so you can also use it for something you like and want to have. It is 1. about feasibility, 2. about the fact that the house does not work in old age, 3. now at the moment ("before old age") not either. It is not the Vita house and not what you describe as what you want to have. You can twist yourself away from the fact as much as you want ... it is something that should not be presented to or favored by the architect. Build your bungalow, but the house has to work! Today and later.
