Thanks for the feedback.. the kitchen windows would then not be floor-to-ceiling... but maybe really too little space for cabinets. We are also considering completely possibly leaving out the guest WC, instead the dressing room could find space there and the way to the bathroom would then no longer be through the stairwell.

In the basement, one could install another WC near the stairs... I think I could live well with that...

Slanted walls, you’re probably right... regarding the path through the entrance area for the kids, I don’t see a problem... the entrance area is a spacious open room and not a simple vestibule...

You're not serious... for guests or family members who suddenly have to go?

You're not serious... so that you have to go to the bathroom at the front?
On such a large area, one should be able to create a private zone ;)

Honestly... you have no sense of space. First of all, the hallway dimensions (dimensions, not measures) should be reduced by 3/4. Nobody needs 40 sqm of hallway space.
Vestibule or hallway doesn't matter at all.

I am always helpful and used to all kinds of things here... but such crutches that you create yourself, I cannot understand.
I am looking forward to the architect's design.

Phew, harsh criticism... I am well aware that I am a complete beginner in floor plan design... the large entrance area we have, as mentioned, is from House Vita... that no one needs is like with a Porsche... But the entire room layout should be coherent, I agree with you on that... I will start anew... I know many who have no guest restroom, or have a second WC on the second floor... they manage just fine... But definitely not sleeping.

There will definitely be no damage... typing on the phone with the baby in hand often goes wrong

:) You can read it :D

Well, somehow you have to make it clear to someone that designing is more than just slapping rectangles next to each other. Or that some people have no sense of space at all.

But it just has to fit: the Vita has a completely different spatial CONCEPT, where many things flow into each other. As I already said: that often doesn't work with children's rooms that are just tacked on somewhere. Among other things, you make the mistake of not setting up zones.
Even a beginner lives and has a daily routine as an adult. If you live "only" in a standard apartment, everything meets in the hallway, from which everything is accessible. In a house, you don't have a buffer to the outside world through a hallway; ideally, you plan so that you can go naked from your room to the bathroom without being seen by the mailman.
About the hallway and Porsche: You are basically setting up a Bulli with the engine of a Porsche. Or a Twingo with a spoiler...

But you're not talking about houses that omit a guest bathroom just to get a door into the main bathroom, are you?
Take a look at standard bungalows, family bungalows from common companies:
You don't have to (re)build them, but understand why they are the way they are and not otherwise. For beginners, it's helpful to read the texts sometimes ;)
