That’s probably where the problem lies: the OP fell head over heels in love with the Weiss Vita model house. Unfortunately, its overlap with personal needs is only about thirty percent (which is why even I don’t “recognize” the “template” in the self-design). Understandably, the fear now is that an architect might give even more significant weight to the seventy percent of needs outside the overlap than we do here, and as a result, the recognizability itself shrinks below the measurable threshold even in the eyes of the OP – maybe only the door handle would remain (Daffy Duck fans know what I’m talking about *LOL*).
Honestly, I see only a very minor “difference” far after the decimal point whether then a floor or a wing stands empty – just because the client hesitates to build the house for a friend and for themselves and wants the house to be inhabited for a foe no matter what until death or at least care level IV, just because it has a symbolic resemblance to the youth love Weiss Vita. Yes, that people evolve is only a common experience and not a law – one can also put all one’s energy into resisting it and prefer, like Oskar Matzerath, not to grow anymore. My late grandmother used to say in such cases that the will of man is his kingdom (funny enough, she worked at Edeka).
Well, not with these words exactly. But I do seem to remember that we repeatedly tried to advise away from this whim of “having everything on one floor at all costs.”
Interesting way of thinking...
I’m building now... don’t care about the rest...
Everyone can decide for themselves what they think is right. Maybe I will move to the sea in 20 years... maybe not... I’m building so that I feel okay there as long as possible... if something changes, I react, if not, I’m happy... pretty much everyone I know has meanwhile swapped their hut for a bungalow or an apartment... kids gone, house too big... floor stands empty, or even has to be used as a bedroom because there’s no space on the ground floor... so,,, I see what’s coming when the kids are out... If you want to build 24 times... I don’t... finding a suitable plot is also getting more difficult... the point system won’t give you any chance to get a plot... remains private purchase or demolishing an old building....
