Hello,

I must be missing something; how can you deduce the region based on the consumption values?

So you guessed right; we work exclusively within a radius around our location, which we can reliably manage

Thanks and same to you; we finally have a weekend off

Kind regards

Hello,

my question referred to the consumption values for a 4-person family, approx. €600-800/year for an air heat pump.

But we come from northern Upper Franconia.

In our new development area there are several air heat pumps. Among those we are in contact with, none manage with €800...

As for us, I can't say much yet – we only moved in in January. Annual performance factor so far 4.9 (2012 according to the display, brine heat pump).

Regards...

That is not an annual performance factor, rather a rather undefined COP. Wait for 01...03/2013 and then evaluate a full year 01...12. Moreover, internal heat meters do not always provide real results.

Hello,

of course you are right. But once the year is over, I can say how many € it took to heat the place - that's ultimately what counts. Then I also see how much energy (electricity) I had to use and how much heat was produced (according to the display). How else could I measure the thermal output? Install an external heat meter? And the hot water?

Correct. not entirely, because for this the capital service for the system would have to be additionally evaluated. What use are low consumption costs if they are paid for with excessive capital service costs?

Hello.

Of course, you are right. But in my opinion: I saved the costs for the gas connection and the chimney – for that, the heat pump was more expensive than the gas boiler. It should have balanced out that way. The effective additional costs are then the heat source. The drilling including connection was not €9,000. I have to "earn" this amount to reach the break-even point – plus interest, of course.

After one year, I can see what I have consumed and convert this required energy into gas. Then I have a comparison.

Am I seeing this wrong?

Regards...
