That is likely true in 99.99% of cases. Therefore, the goal is to use the investment as economically and purposefully as possible. There are countless ways to limit the overall investment, especially if you separate the unnecessary from the fundamental necessities

Rotex not either? According to their product description, they should actually be able to do that.

Hello,

Experience from last year ...

Due to the calculation and overall situation, we wanted to install a Japanese air-to-water heat pump (split unit) for one of our customers’ two-story semi-detached house; price/performance/customer service are equally top. The only problem was that the father (it’s always the fathers :rolleyes) thought he knew better. Paraphrased original quote: "these devices are no good and are much too loud. The air-to-water heat pump from an Austrian provider is better and much quieter." Now you have to know that we planned the house so that the route from the utility room (HAR) to the garage was very short - the outdoor unit was supposed to be on the garage; the size of the utility room overall was aligned with the technology of the Japanese provider.

How could it be otherwise, the father prevailed; took on the additional investment of EUR 6,000 and now the situation is as follows: in front of the semi-detached house (street side in front of the kitchen window) stands a "pretty" outdoor unit with the fan facing upwards, with external dimensions of 1.20 x 1.20 x 1.20 meters - it is overall actually max. 2 dB quieter (apparently dad didn’t read the legal regulations regarding the maximum permissible limits - noise emissions of outdoor units). The utility room is only partially walkable, since in addition to the 300 l buffer tank, an 850 l tank for heating support has been added. But the real kicker is the father’s answer to my question about the door of the utility room, which stubbornly remained closed during our visit: the system is so loud that we prefer to keep the door closed. BUT outside it is "nicely" quiet, isn’t it?

Kind regards

Colorful advertising nonsense is only binding in the sense of prospectus liability. You can sue the issuer afterwards. For planning/dimensioning, only published, provided heating capacity and COP characteristic curves count. You can also recognize the full modulation from them. I see nothing from this provider, despite inquiry.

Thank you for the previous answers...

What is a solar thermal system with gas?

So I need a full modulation air heat pump, which is of course probably even more expensive?

You could also name a few devices, because without that I am just as clueless as before.

Today I was in a 150sqm show house that was equipped with a new Vaillant air heat pump. On the consumption display it said something like 14000kWh. Last winter was also on the diagram. When I convert that into electricity costs, it is over 200€ monthly... that is quite a lot, isn’t it, or did I miscalculate? The pump was installed there by Vaillant. Of course, nobody takes a shower in the show house.

Hello Bauexperte,

based on the consumption figures, are all your builders from the Rhineland?

Greetings and have a good start to the weekend
