It depends on what the money is still worth in 15-20 years. Maybe I will accept 100€ per month then.

Is, for example, Vaillant Geotherm Plus junk? I can't imagine that... hmm

Which systems are that good - Vaillant? The exact designation would of course be good... or is there some kind of secret here in the forum?

Hello,
we have decided on an air heat pump for our construction project. I have already received the product data with technical details from our construction company. Besides the expected performance, I was also concerned about the noise level, as it should neither disturb us nor our neighbors when we want it warm.

We have chosen an air heat pump with a limit range of -25°. Recommended for a usable area of max. 300 sqm (we have 140 sqm to supply). The db is specified with max. 39, which is quite "quiet." I have seen other products that come with 60-90 db.

As for the consumption costs, I cannot say anything yet because the house is not finished... but I am quite optimistic about it...

Best regards, Britta

What heating load was calculated? Oversizing has a particularly negative effect on air heat pumps. During the screed drying, it will have its first test of endurance. For air heat pumps, external heat meters for heating and domestic hot water separately are recommended. These allow consumption to be evaluated => COP or annual performance factor. They are also very helpful for optimizing system settings. The typical factory settings usually need to be adapted to the specific characteristics of the respective building project.

best regards

My thoughts exactly. Usage conditions change over time anyway. Always this cost-benefit calculation. All pure theory and eye-wash. At the moment, prices for renewable energies are overpriced anyway. And what do you get for that? Partly immature technology! Better to rely on proven technology then. But definitely plan for a retrofit to the "new" technology (empty conduits or similar).
